Dolphins respond to food (in the form of fish), touch, and cheers and clapping. Really. I did the Dolphin Interaction Program, which only lasts for an hour, but we got in the pool with them and cued them for some behaviors. They really do respond to our own enthusiasm. The only difficulty for a blind person would be with giving the fish because you toss it in the mouth (watch the fingers), and I bet they figured out a way to do that. Perhaps a noise over the dolphin's snout? Check at Sea World in Florida. I think they have the Dolphin Interaction Program. You don't actually get to swim, but it's really fun none-the-less.
