The Congress of World Leaders which had gathered in Sri Lanka to view the
horrible conditions met yesterday to listen to various speakers. The somber
mood was uplifted thanks to the Dally Lama's inspirational monologue:
"Why don't people in Sri Lanka take baths?
They wash up on shore instead.
What's the least popular detergent in Indonesia?
Tide.
Aren't the beachfront cities in Thailand without power?
No, there's plenty of current running through the towns
What did the photographer say, when about to photograph a group of tourists?
"WAVE!"
Why are people in the Sri Lanka area so annoying?
They always get carried away
Why are so many sharks stricken with diarrhea?
They've been eating Thai food all week."
A hearty round of applause followed this intro, at which point the Lama felt
that the best thing that he could do was to pass the Collection Plate, and
after counting his money he left.
