So, if I want to perform a brain surgery to remove a
deadly tumor, my best chances of succeeding would be
to be a complete beginner, not knowing anything about
the medicine and the brain surgery?

Where do you go to dig up such nonsense? Is it again
coming from one of those New Age self-help books that
are being sold dime-a-dozen? Many so-called Zen
masters making lots of moolah selling their half-baked
books to the gullible...

The desire to empty the mind is a hallmark of
dualistic practice. Such practice is doomed to
failure.

You must realize that it is impossible to empty
something that is already empty. It's like sitting in
your car on the traffic light that's already showing
green, and waiting for the light to turn green. If you
do that, you'll inevitably set yourself for a failure.
