No. We already have a Zen Center in my home town, and the Zen
Center already has a rural property. I am just trying to make the
begginers feel more comfortable and welcome in the Zen Center, so
they will become permanent members.
I just wanted to know whether anyone here has ever tried
something similar in his/her own Zen Center. I think it is a good
idea to give the begginers an opportunity to express themselves and
say why they are interested in Zen Buddhism. This is one of the goals
of the questionnaire. The other goal is to use the information
obtained in order to improve our practice and our community life. How
that will be done, exactly, will depend on the information provided
by the begginers who will answer the questionnaire.
Regards,
Francisco.
