Continuing my pissyness (although not as pissy as Doug, it seems :) I didnt'
get input on my choices (this original thread)... s'pose it was long winded.

When anxiously thinking of nonsense and recognizing it I can either:

1. Stop. Without adding extra effort, don't try to figure out why, or from
where the anxiety came from -- this is just more 'extra'. Have faith in
repetition -- or at least in simplicity of the method :) And I have no
motivation to endulge it.

2. Remove the distractions keeping me from fully feeling the anxiety, follow
its insistent lead until I immerse in it as much as easily acheived, and see if
it is then easily removed/satiated (then remove it), goes away on its own
(vanising act), or just here to stay (welcome to wherever you are). If
seemingly unremoveable, count it as the first principle, and let this
unquenchable thirst steer for a while, because as a first mate its a pain in
the ass, and when put in the brig, it just escapes to make a bigger show of
itself... Or is this an elaborate thought jerkoff/idea leading back to square
one, thus giving the ego a license to 'ill?

Dear Mack, Rod and all Sangha,

You are both the problem and the solution.

Take care and enjoy the day,
