as i was typing the last bit yesterday, my daughter called to say that my son is packing up to move & will by stopping by her place to leave some things. he'll be going to the middle east monday. i didn't sleep well last nite - & thought i'd skip my 'church' this morning. but, since i'm awake anyway - i'll be glad to be with sangha. i thought it was interesting that i spelled impune in that sentence - i keep thinking that whatever a gift life may be, & however much the various religions talk of gratitude (a generous heart??) - none of us ever enters into this with impunity. thanks for you thoughtful posts, j ------------------------ Yahoo!
