at the risk of butting into a private conversation, one thing i've found helpful is to define a schedule & when it's 'time to sit' - sit with no questions. then when doing dishes - no questions about leaving for the cushion... however, it's _always_ useful to practice 'dishes/driving/working' meditation (& i don't have to ponder whether dishes are best done standing or squating ;-) > Worse than giving myself gold stars for "sittin' like a yogic jedi" -- I > gave myself gold stars for "avoiding sitting for the wrong reasons." > (and an extra star for gettin' the dishes done... Finally :) this made me smile, & was actually the reason for posting - very embarrassing - but when i first began sitting i imagined myself as the 'luke skywalker' of the seated position... sigh, 'i was so much older then, i'm younger than that now' ------------------------ Yahoo!
