I always wonder at this idea a bit. What watcher? What observer? I'd suggest 
that he's "silent" because "he" isn't there, lol. There's just *watching*, 
without something being watched, or someone doing the watching. Just a process, 
an unfolding that FEELS like someone watching something to the unenlightened 
primitives like myself ;)
