The Buddha's teaching is very tricky, in the sense that it is like taking the thorn from one's eye by using another thorn. If one is not careful, the original thorn may quite easily get replaced by the new thorn. Thus, the person may be proclaimed 'cured', while actually being in an even worse state than when he started the healing, because the new thorn cuts in much deeper. This is why the Buddha was considered the gratest physician, because he knew exactly how to take that thorn out with another thorn, without leaving any residue nor trace. Your ruminations about the "just watching", the absence of the watcher and the watched, are merely a fresh thorn curring into the healthy flesh. ------------------------ Yahoo!
