If you read the Home Page now you will notice it specifically does say that
you need to read, study, and practice Zen to participate on this group.

>if you could see past your ego you would recognize that zen is about living
right and being
a decent human being no matter what the circumstances. its also about not
trying to push people away because they dont fit or form into their ideas of
who should be in his or her group.>

This is about your ego. You admit not practicing zazen, and NOT reading
anything about Zen, yet you believe that you know the essence of Zen. Based
on what? A song you heard on the radio? What is the source of your belief?
You have no source. Where is the well of your wisdom? It can be anything you
want it to be. Christianity? A book? Your best friend? A teacher? A class
that you took?

Others post, and it bothers you when they refer to Zen books or Buddhist
scripture. That is your ego talking. The shallow sound that knowledge makes
when it bounces off of your ego. It is about your ego refusing to read a Zen
book, and presuming to discuss Zen.

>i will continue to post here as i see fit. Mack>

I have suggested that you join the free-form Street Fighting Zen list. I
keep the hope that you will say something profound that comes from that
place within you that you claim that you have cultivated. But I think it is
clear that you are more like a little boy who refuses to do his homework and
wants to be recognized on the Honor Roll along with the kids who work hard
and study.

If you think that you are learning from yourself without any kind of study
or practice; then you are fooling yourself. If you never lay the groundwork
and seed it and nurture the knowledge, you cannot reap a deeper
understanding. There is a saying in the Bible, Hosea 8:7 that says:

       "They sow the wind
       and reap the whirlwind.
       The stalk has no head;
       it will produce no flour."
