It is easy to judge someone else's remarks, I do it all the time. My initial
reaction when I read something I do not like is to think a negative thought.
Sometimes people just post nasty remarks, so it is easy to see them all the
same way. However, if you are not mature enough to understand something,
other people's remarks will seem like "spewing spiritual phrases from
books."
To people that understand those phrases inside and out, it reallys means
something. I am not someone who really understands the phrases. That is why
I try to learn more. There is a saying that a wise man should not throw
pearls before swine (that is my reference to a scripture, book, etc.).
If ignorant people never make an effort to learn, we will never elevate our
minds. If you do not know or understand the book learning, it will be more
difficult to get anything valuable from good information when it is
provided.
The guy made a good point. I understood it at my level. Maybe someone else
understood it at a different level. You did not understand it at all.
