Zenoss supports device groups (Systems) and application level
monitoring, which will be improved upon. We are just taking our initial
steps towards application discovery and monitoring. Of course, it would
be nice to know that those web servers have connections to those
database servers and clump them together. Now *that* would be sweet.
Templating wuld be nice - IE, I have 50 or so exchange servers.
I'm so sorry. 8-)
Just kidding... exchange servers are a perfectly good justification for
needing Zenoss to watch for failures.
