So, I ran into this once before, and had to reboot the windows machine, it not being in production and thereby not being an issue.
Right now what I am facing is as follows:
'snmpwalk -v 1 public x.x.x.x -m ALL' works and returns a plethora of info
zenoss to the same x.x.x.x ip, v1 public, times out, although it resolves the hostname of the system and add's it
This is the same behaviour of the machine I rebooted, prior to reboot, upon which everything populated. There is no snmp informant installed here, but I should be getting something more than the hostname eh?
Any thougths as to what this may be beside's a joy solved by rebooting the 2k3 server?
