Wondering if there was a simple application wizard for clients to have SNMP

So basic users can run this program and have it run automatically run the agent
and set the community name. The reason for this is so I can monitor their
systems without the hassle for them to do anything.
Can Zenoss or any 3rd party software client do this?
Brian,
The quick answer is no, but it sounds like a good idea to me too. The
steps that this installer would have to perform would be..
1. Install the Windows SNMP service. (If not already installed)
2. Configure the SNMP service with appropriate access controls.
3. Install the SNMP-Informant MIB extensions. (If not already installed)
4. Restart the SNMP service.
Number 2 is actually quite easy. You can simply export the
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP registry
folder on a system that you've configured properly and import it on
all other systems.
Someone who is comfortable making MSI packages could probably do all
of this rather easily.
