Hi, I had the same problem. We have several edge routers to monitor and polling bgp routes was very slow and consumes a large amount of CPU. To remedy this, i created a view in the snmp conf on the cisco routers masking all routing tables. Polling other protocol routing tables like ISIS or OSPF is not important for us but maybe with the views u can already mask only bgp routes instead of all the routes. Did u checked this up?
