I've followed this thread as I'm having similar problems. I have installed Zenoss (2.0.60) and the beta, and hang at the same place:
Loading initial Zenoss objects into the Zeo database (this can take a few minutes) I try to interrupt it with ctrl-c, and it stops that, then continues starting daemons, looks fines, except I can't access the web page. I tried some advice in another thread by doing this: > $ rm -f $ZENHOME/var/zeo1-1.zec > > Try running it this way: > > $ runzeo Only problem being, I can't seem to find a directory, prior to starting Zenoss for the 1st time, to use "runzeo". I've uninstalled and re-installed Zenoss several times the way eyepodder decribed, and even re-installed FC6. I can post logs, with a little help. This is my first real dive into Linux nuts and bolts, I've run the desktop for a while just as a workstation, but I am struggling with this. TIA for any help. ------------------------ Kyle Aumell -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=11109#11109 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
