Well, A few days after my initial post the rpc_s_call_failed errors stopped popping up and zenoss started running fine and has been since. I didn't do anything differently or make any changes. I just kept clearing the error and restarting zenwin etc and then one day the rpc error didn't show up again. Not sure what to say. And I'm still running 2.0.3. The Vmware appliance doesn't show any newer versions when I do 'conary rq zenoss' and I don't want to any updates manually.
