kevinrs, Yes, even if you have pingCheck set to false, you will still get alerts if you have more than one device entered with the same IP. I thought I had found the solution when I turned this off, but I still got alerts (a few hours later for some reason). Haven't found a good fix to this yet.
Looking at your other post, I don't have any experience working with Tomcat monitoring, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can jump in on that topic. Initially, I would only say that if you enter each of those virtual HostNames as devices, you will get alerts for those resolving to the same IPs, I believe. There may be a better way to get this working for Tomcat in particular, but I can't say myself.
