I can answer the second part of your question- Google apparently does not have any information about Argentina loaded into their map system. If you access maps.google.com you will be able to see what detail each country, region or city has.
For example, Argentina does not seem to have any road information available for Google. Paraguay only seems to have information on Asunción. My system is in San Francisco, CA, USA - which not only has road information but also has outlines of the buildings in the city.
