I'm seeing the exact same thing here. Good luck getting a reply on here that's helpful. I'm about ready to scrap zenoss to go back to netsaint/nagios. I really can't present this software to our CIO as is, and any posts about the networking/subnetting seem to go unanswered on this forum.
