What kind of devices are you polling with zenoss? My previous position encountered this with zenoss and it was related to the snmp communication between the linux host (zenoss server) and target (solaris box). I wasn't the one to work on the solution but it was corrected when we went from RHEL3 to RHEL4 on the zenoss box, as well as updating the net-snmp on both hosts to more recent versions - at least 5.3 if I recall correctly.
