I'd probably consider abandoning Zenoss if I was forced to install yet another monitoring agent on my Windows boxes, in all honesty. That's one of the biggest reasons I like Zenoss: no agent install. If I wanted an agent-based monitoring system I'd use MOM (err...SCOM) or something. I think the developers at Zenoss are going down the right path with trying to get WMI monitoring to work well.
With that being said, however...WinRM seems promising as a substitute for WMI. -- seth wright ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) windows engineer 540.568.2912 (office) james madison university On Fri, Jun 27, 2008 at 12:14 PM, jaylopez <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Just one thing to solve several problems specially for Windows based devices: > > AN AGENT PLUGIN!
