Hey Guys, It references a feature I contributed that yes, admittedly, should have been discussed better. This particular feature suffered from some stability issues for a while, mostly as a result of a bad variable args API decision and touching code paths that's not easy to cover in tests ( runs within the context of an I/O thread and deals with the network ). It's been reworked after RC1 from community feedback.
Apologies for shipping something implicated in this bad publicity, however, it's still a pretty narrow rant. - Lourens On Tue, Nov 13, 2012 at 6:44 PM, Brian Knox <[email protected]> wrote: > 0mq will live or die on it's merits. > > I think the best response to such discussions is to produce great > things built with 0mq. > > Github commits are, in my opinion, better arguments than blog comments. > > > On Tue, Nov 13, 2012 at 1:02 PM, jeff murphy <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > > http://linuxfr.org/nodes/96358/comments/1407288 > > > > On Nov 13, 2012, at 9:09 AM, LECLERCQ Nicolas < > [email protected]> wrote: > > > >> Hi all, > >> Could someone react to the following (french) post please? > >> http://linuxfr.org/users/krunch/journaux/zeromq-et-les-mangoustes > >> The idea is clearly not to involve you in controversy.
