Even i wrote a similarly short poem a few weeks back. here is it
And then comes poetry
The fire of imagination in the mind
Is smothered by Reason;
I am consumed inwardly by its smoke:
The soul suffocates;
Breathing becomes abnormal;
Nerves get jangled
And then comes poetry
To resuscitate life into me
