We have seen virtually no degradation of Sun (Oracle) Support since the takeover. Sun started enforcing the requirement of system serial number before Oracle completed the acquisition, and that is the last major change we've seen. On the other hand, much of our experience is related to our local support staff, and they were well above Sun average for over a decade. >> The "enterprise" is going to continue to want Oracle on Solaris. > > The "enterprise" wants what they used to get from Sun, not what's > currently being offered. -- {--------1---------2---------3---------4---------5---------6---------7---------} Paul Kraus -> Senior Systems Architect, Garnet River ( http://www.garnetriver.com/ ) -> Sound Coordinator, Schenectady Light Opera Company ( http://www.sloctheater.org/ ) -> Technical Advisor, RPI Players _______________________________________________ zfs-discuss mailing list zfs-discuss@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/zfs-discuss
