I would like to see a successful app store that would provide a convenient path for developers to non-Google-approved devices (the existing app stores that try to do this are too fragmented), but Amazon's offering doesn't appear to be it. It's way too "evil". I can see it being successful if they sign up the big name developers and get it on a lot of devices, but I kind of hope it won't be.
