I'm building a new version of the geni586.img file for 0.6.1. I believe I've found the problem. New version will be uploaded later tonight.
In the meantime, I'm removing the astlinux-0.6.1-geni586.img.gz file. Note that there are no problems with the astlinux-0.6.1-geni586.tar.gz files (which are intended to go into the 'os' directory in a prepared runnix system).
