I forgot to mention that my other frontends have no trouble playing back the recordings that the atv chokes on.
"The only fix I found was to have myth transcode it using the mpeg2 flag which just cleans up the stream" How do you set this up exactly? I've been poking around and this didn't seem obvious to me. I'm assuming that you have to set up a transcoder to do this, but I only see MPEG-4 and RTJpeg as encoding options. Did you add an MPEG-2 encoder? Or did you select the "Lossless transcoding" option?
