I just read the manual for the Oregon Talking BBQ and Oven wireless thermometer thingee. It seems that the unit announces the meat selection as you press the button, and announces the doneness selection as you change it as well. However, nothing seemed to mention that it announced the actual temperature, or that there was a way to press a button to make it announce the current temperature.
