My money is on intake, as the failure rate is 100% and we've never done
an exhaust sensor, but if you send me the last 7 digits of your VIN, I
can cross that ridiculously inadequate P code to a real code and real
information.

I have the CD changer from my old E36 325 lying around. Compatible with the
older Alpine stereo. There's some flakiness in the main power connector to the
unit, but it doesn't have the typical eject-your-cartridge-across-the-trunk
issues. Someone with a bit of electrical aptitude could prolly track down the
loose power connection and have a fine unit cheap.

Make me an offer.

Hey all,

Some of you may have seen this before, but I found
this today while browsing on YouTube. 15 year old kid
stole a black E30 M3 from somewhere in Kansas and is
pursued by state troopers. Pretty good driver for a 15
year old.

Yeah, I've seen this episode before. I love how the host throws out
specs about the car...
240hp -- Was it a Sport Evolution engine? Doubt it.
Supercharged engine? -- Obviously not, unless it was tuned.
0-60 in 5.7 sec? Pretty sure a stock M3 couldn't do that. According to
bimmers.com a Sport Evo can do 0-60 in 6.1 sec.

Smart kid must've known he was stealing very rare European import Sport
Evolution E30 M3. ;-)

I'm no expert on "The Real" M3 but I'm pretty sure those numbers are
exaggerated.

Stupid kid, btw.

Just because you get a sensor code, it doesn't mean you have a bad sensor.
It means the sensor output is out of range. That can mean a rich or lean
condition cause by other problems.
