I have to concur with Dave's assessment.  Interfaces, abstract CFC's and
static CFC's sound really nice and are certainly 'must haves' in strongly
typed languages but IMO they address a problem CF doesn't really have.  I
can see the benefit of all 3 but I can also see current ways to address each
of these in some way shape or form. With the 'buzz' around Ruby on Rails and
the movement toward creating better apps faster (thus why RoR seems to be
exploding) I just don't see how these items address that issue.  I
personally do not want CF to wander to far away from it's dynamic roots.
Instead I'd rather see it continue to make the hard tasks easier, such as
the new threading tags forthcoming in BD 7.
