(1) What I did do was overwrite the existing document's styles with the styles from a document that was already published. Since this didn't automatically adjust the footer, I'm going to redo it using the correct method just in case there are other things I've missed.
Don't worry. I have a clear idea now of what I did incorrectly and what I need to do to fix it. Again, thank you. (2) LOL.
