With Microham devices it works perfect via the virtual ports
Been using it +20 years now.

Without this HW device it's also possible via software
But it is much more complicated and requires skills
If you use FREE software.

hmmm Kostas, I haven't thought about that.... MK3 has many virtual ports and  
maybe that would work and I could run both together. Only one way to find out!  
I'll fool around with it this afternoon and see what happens. Not going to hold
