I also was a great fan of DX4WIN for many years (version 5.xx or late 4 is where I started). I even slugged through the long delay to V9 from V8. I have moved on after a year or so of V9 when no further real updates were expected. I also would never recommend a newer ham to use DX4WIN since the items that most would find almost necessary these days are LoTW integration (upload/download confirmations within the program), and notification of award needs in the WSJT window. Keeping LoTW in sync with one button and seeing color coded FT8 needs in WSJT receive window sure is nice.
