And I really can't stand it, especially unresizable windows. What is the possibility of E getting the option to ignore some of these hints?I think you are a bit vague. If you were more specific about your problems, somebody might be able to have an opinion?
Perhaps this could be part of the 16.6 patch that Kim is working on.Well, please don't imagine me as working on anything. As far as I am concerned the patch as it is makes E16 work with new GNOME/KDE versions, at least with respect to the small feature set I use.
Nobody has complained about things not working, so I assume everything is either just fine or nobody cares enough to complain.
In my mind, the next thing is to take a look at the GNOME tasklist
and pager which I think are broken (don't support desktops larger that the screen). If anybody is interested, I have a very crude patch on libwnck that makes the tasklist show only the windows in the current viewport, as I think it should (sorry - not really an E thing)
