A lot of the times windows are made unresizable because they don't resize well 
at all. E ingnoring these hints could break those apps. If the preconditions 
a developer uses for his app are violated by then environment its running in 
then the behavior of the program becomes undefined. Its not fair to the 
developers, no matter how big-headed, to break their programs.
