I agree. There is a lot to be said for things like booking systems,
websites, schedules and booklets being done centrally by EuroPython
and improved by evolution rather than revolution, and allowing the
next set of local organisers to get on with locally organising venues
and social events. As long the central parts are not used as a hangout
for people who want to talk but not help, preventing the basics from
getting done through endless cycles of negative criticism.
