OK. So Martin's question about whether your gmp was built on your machine or elsewhere would apply. If you run fink dumpinfo -fdebfile gmp gmp-shlibs That will say where the binaries are stored. If they're in /sw/fink/ dists, then they were probably built on your system (unless you copied your Fink tree over from another computer.
