Gents,
I notice a strange malfunction that concerns some of my CP40FT type A
modules. It consists in the following:
* frequently some single CP modules are auto-rebooted.
*sometimes some single CP modules are stopped. I reboot them manually.
*It happened one time that a CP40FT both modules stopped and a total plant
Shutdown occured
It was reported to Foxboro, But they always asked to change the CP module!
Recently CAR2000274 was defined. However no feedback yet.
The type of system alarm messages I received last 4 months are the
following:
EHSS 000141 Memory Parity Error - NMI Exception 00006C024868
EHSS 000141 Memory Parity Error - NMI Exception 00006C078425
RAMDSS 000003 COOP IOBUS Fail FBM I/O FAILURE. 00006C073595
FTXSS 000090 Modules failed to sync up prior to mem to mem
00006C079819
EHSS 000141 Memory Parity Error - NMI Exception 00006C024868
FTXSS 000080 Memory violation occured 00006C073595
FTXSS 000080 Memory violation occured 00006C078463
Have someone experienced or resolved a similar malfunction?
What is the root-cause of this?
How can it be resolved?
Is there a chance that another plant shutdown take place due to CP40FT
Shutdown of both modules?
Thanks
