No, you cannot use phalcon/yaf with HHVM. Anyway HHVM was 2x faster during my 
tests but that was because it was compiled in debugging mode (current the only 
available mode). And trust me when i say if you care about performance and 
don’t need the ext-intl use HHVM over the others.
