I have some new information regarding my problem ( I couldn't find any mention of a problem like mine) so I fiddled some more.
I plugged the S-Video to Composite adapter and I get a picture....only its black and white. I read that the composite and s-video were hooked up to the same place in the card so if the s-video works (even in black and white) then I assume the composite should work. If I'm right about composite and s-video being wired into the same place then my card dongle is bad (in which case how do I fix the B&W problem). If I'm wrong then I'm still hoping you all might have some clue.

I don't have much to add about your original problem, but commenting on the B&W output... I had the same problem when initially setting up my Myth box on my 350 more than a year ago and never was able to resolve it. Using the 250's S-Video out, with a S-Video to composite adapter (I tried two different one's thinking the adapter might be bad) always produced a B&W picture no matter what I did. I gave up on it, and I use the composite out.

Of course that should read "Using the 350's S-Video out...." Not enough coffee this morning... :-)
