I was a bit quick answering... The tuner is correctly detected when removing tveeprom then modprobing ivtvt..
The card is randomly detected as 250 or 150, so I need to specify cardtype to ivtv. I see a thing at the end of the startup procedure: ivtv: i2c client addr: 0x43 not found for command 0x40307603! Which I think is not a problem as thats some access try to the saXXXX module(?). I think I remember that I read about it here previously. Anyway after modprobing I try to tune the card: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/src/ivtv-0.3.7b/utils$ ./ptune.pl --freqtable pal-europe-west --channel E11 Ch.E11: 217250 3476 These rows are added to the dmesg output: cx25840: decoder disable output ivtv: i2c client addr: 0x43 not found for command 0x402c5639! cx25840: decoder enable output cx25840: decoder set norm PAL cx25840: decoder set input (6) cx25840: now setting Tuner input cx25840: set audio input (0) ivtv: 1000 ms time out waiting for firmware ivtv: Failed api call 0x000000d2 with result 0xfffffff0 Any suggestions?!
