I am it would seem to be a late comer to this VLC program. I have known about it for a long time, I just haven't actively checked it out much as of yet.

I have it installed and will start fiddling with it possibly today. If anybody has any getting started tips to send along I would be interested in reviewing them, thanks in advance.

Hi Justin,

I had a similar problem with the latest vlc-3.0.1-win64 version. It
wouldn't play MP3 or WAV files, & it was set to play all files. I
uninstalled it, & went back to the vlc-2.2.8-win64 version. It's playing
just fine now.

Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!
Sennt from my iBarstool.

I downloaded vlc, but the dvd and cd won't play. I've set vlc as default,
and when I try to plya the files, they won't play. It says audio tract or
video tract is not available.
