Jünger can't really be considered a consumate photographer but certainly had a very good feeling for the power of media beyond the distributed printed word - photography, film, telegraphy, etc. His photo collection is in the DLA in Marbach and I did take the opportunity back in the day of having a look through it - particularly with regard to the photos from the First World War. They really come down to the sorts of photo that many soldiers took of their comrades, trenches and life behind the front lines.
