I think I have a better understanding of color management, especially after
reading http://www.boscarol.com/pages/cms_eng/. So far, my wife has contacted
our brother-in-law who has photoshop. He was able to supply her with rgb and
cmyk values from the pantones. I assume he was using the SWOP profiles.

Marti, I had a little programmer itch I wanted to scratch with lcms. What I'd
like to do is create a command-line program that queried profiles for values:

1) say I have rgb values, what's the lab values in a particular input profile
2) I have lab values, what's the cmyk values for a particular output profile

Is this feasible with little cms? Whether it's usefull is another question, but
I just thought I could get my feet wet this way...
