PostScript CSA/CRD does not work for this case. icc2ps generates a special dictionary when you give a named color profile to it. Then is up to the implementation of RIP to use such dictionary. Adobe's CPSI can recognize it, although this is a private extension. But the problem is, how can I tell a PS printer to print the CIE-based replacement colors for the spot colors with ICC-absolute intent, if I want to print everything else perceptual? The CRD can only have one intent. Regards, Gerhard ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
