As announced in the message Gordon Cook forwarded to the list a couple days
ago and as described on <http://www.icann.org/icann-pr19apr99.htm>, ICANN
will hold a press conference Wednesday morning to announce the five
companies selected to participate in the initial testbed phase of the new
competitive Shared Registry System for the .com, .net, and .org domains.
For those of you who can't make it to Washington's National Press Club for
the live event, the Berkman Center will be running a webcast in RealAudio,
with archives available immediately thereafter.
