I had similar temperatures with my '99 +8 a few years ago.

I had the radiator re-cored and it made an amazing difference.

Cruise at 70 and 85oC afterwards and of course the advantage of two eyes on
the road rather than one on the gauge!

Subject: [mogtalk2] Nose Job

Having had her backside tightened up by Doctor Keith at BHM last month ,
M800RGN decided she would like a new nose job before she goes on holiday
next week to France and hits the boulevards; she went for this stainless
steel job with a 13 row Mocal cooler behind. Haven't done any motorway work
yet, but I seem to be running 10-15* cooler and am running an indicated
85-95* in mixed driving - spirited and traffic and only minimal fan cutting
in in stationary traffic now. I always displayed an indicated 100-120 in
hot-very hot weather depending on driving style - never ever lost any
coolant though. Will stave off the ally rad for a bit methinks, but will
eventually give in.
