hi folks,
first, please CC me on replies as i am not subscribed to mutt-users...

i am using 1.3.24 and i get annoyed by the new way of displaying
threaded messages in the index. for instance, this is an excerpt of
my current inbox, sender abbreviated to make textwidth == 76...

41 NP Dec 25 someone ( 0) Re: transfer to seamus
42 NS+ Dec 25 someone (   0) ?-&*?-&-?-&-?-&-?-&-?-&-?->Re: Fwd: seamu
43 Ns+ Dec 25 someone (   0) ?-&-?-&-?->Re: Your message to slug-archi
44 N + Dec 22 someone (   0) ?-?->Re: spool?

this is a little ridiculous, don't you think? just because all other
messages of the #42 thread have been archived doesn't mean that i need
to be reminded, that this is at hierarchy level 10... it obscures the
entire subject line.

is there anything i can do against this? mutt's got to have a config
option (and $hide_missing doesn't cut the mustard...)!

thanks, and please CC me!
