It might make sense to not copy the files but symlink the folder (then it 
automatically receives updates).
i.e.
ln -s $TEXROOT/texmf-context/context/data/vacode/extensions/context 
~/.vscode/extensions/

Don’t know how symlinking in Windows works, though.
